Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

BoNetze is committed to Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts WCAG 2.0 at level AA, under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Accessibility is part of the product rather than an addition to it: every release is checked before it is published.

2. What has been done

Every control can be reached and operated with a keyboard and shows a visible focus ring. Text contrast is at least 4.5:1 in both the light and the dark theme.

Every icon carries a text label, visible or for assistive technology. Hebrew and Arabic are laid out right to left. Motion is reduced when the system asks for it. Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content or function.

Headings, landmarks and form labels are marked up so that a screen reader can move through a page in order, and every image added by the team has a description.

3. Known gaps

The interactive map has no full keyboard alternative yet; the list view shows exactly the same places and is fully accessible. Some photos uploaded by visitors have no description.

Both are being worked on, and this statement will be updated when they are fixed.

4. Telling us about a problem

If you meet a barrier, use the report link on any place page and describe what happened and on which screen. The message reaches the accessibility coordinator, who answers within seven working days.

Tell us in what form you would like the information you could not reach, and we will send it that way.

5. The accessibility of the places we list

The catalogue records what we know about each place: an accessible entrance, parking, toilets and a stroller-friendly route, with the date the details were last verified.

BoNetze does not operate those places and cannot guarantee their accessibility. If a detail is wrong, the report link on the place page is the fastest way to fix it for everyone.

This statement covers the BoNetze web application in all five of its languages.
